Mobility Aids

Unlike many other holiday destinations, Lanzarote is well catered for the mobility impaired traveller. Most resorts have mobility hire companies, and all are fairly easy to get around.

Of the many companies available, we have listed the two largest companies.

Many resort towns have ramps in the shopping areas for mobility access, and also ramp access to family beaches.

Playa Blanca has undergont a transformation recently, making it very mobility friendly. The seafront promenade streatches from Marina Rubicon to the Faro lighthouse west of Playa Blanca Village, you can travel the whole coast of Playa Blanca with views over to the islands of Los Lobos and Fuerteventura.

Sea front apartments, hotels and villas on ground level along the promenade are available, and would suit towards giving you an easier holiday. Check with your booking agent.
