L'Arista is an authentic piece of Italy in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

Only the best ingredients are used in the homemade dishes, and special pasta selection along with fantastic homemade pasta. A fine meal can be followed with rich Italian desserts.

The restaurant is slightly set back from the seafront, with other buildings providing a wind breaker, so it's perfect for outdoor dining, with views to Fuerteventure.

Prices are a little higher than the average Italian on the island, but you do get what you pay for. There is not a plastic chair in sight. Daily specials are made using the best pasta and home made pestos. The happy staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.

The wine menu includes Lanzarote and Italian wines, so why not try a local Lanzarote wine. You may have driven past the very bodega on the island. Available at L'Arista is the El Grifo range, including the 2008 El Grifo Malvasía Seco, it's crisp and dry with a Sauvignon-like freshness. Of course, being an Italian there's the classic Pino Grigio, at 21.95€.
