Antionio opened La Ponderosa in 1984, with the simplest of aims - good quality fresh food with excellent service.
A few years later the success of La Ponderosa lead him to open La Ponderosa 2. Sometimes restaurants thrive by creating a 'buzz' which clients find addictive. La Ponderosa 1 and 2 both thrive purely because they have great food and great service.
