  • Size: Small
  • Flag: Blue Flag
  • Restauants & Bars near by
  • Facilities: Showers
  • Access: Ramp access to beach.
  • Nearest Road: Promenade around the beach.

Playa Blanca beach is in the centre of the town, a very short walk from the main shopping street.

The main roundabout in Playa Blanca has a Giant Ships Anchor in the centre, to the left of the Anchor is the Taxi Rank, you can see the beach (and Fuerteventura) fairly clearly.

It is easily accessible from other parts of the resort via the Promenade. There are plenty of amusements, cafés and bars surrounding the beach.

It is a small beach, but if passing the time of day and watching life go by is your thing, this is the beach for you. The nearest bar immediately beside the beach is The Kings Head.

There is a life guard on duty when the flag is flying.

Top Tip, for the best value traditional Spanish tapas at inexpensive prices, try the Spanish bar located in the harbour/ferry booking office, it’s a good place to try speaking a little Spanish, and to enjoy the harbour views.
